The Bodija Market witnessed a significant transformation on 22nd August,2024 as 101.7 Yes FM, in collaboration with the Fairaction Charity Foundation, organised a cleanup initiative.
The event took place with staff and volunteers from Yes FM and its environs leading the cleanup exercise, which is part of Yes FM’s broader goal to support the community and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
(SDG) 2030, particularly Goal 6, which focusses on sustainable water and sanitation management.
While speaking with Yes FM Adedamola the Baba looja of Bodija Market who spoke on behalf of the traders expressed their deep gratitude to Yes FM and Fairaction Charity Foundation.
The research and programs manager of Fairaction Nigeria Mr Tosin Kayode advised Nigerians to make it a duty to take care of their environment.
Also the Head of Human resources and Administration of Yes FM, Chinasa Egelemba said the people of Ibadan should expect more of this initiative
Meanwhile, Cleaning our environment should be a priority to each and everyone of us so as to prevent disease and illness in our society.
