The family of the late Taiwo Adegbodu has again been thrown into distress following an attack on their residence by armed robbers, just eight days after his burial.
The development comes after a Night of Tribute was held in honour of Taiwo on March 30, 2026, where friends, fans and sympathisers celebrated his life and mourned his passing.
In a 10-minute video released afterward, his twin brother, Kehinde Adegbodu, disclosed that the robbers stormed their home while he was away in Osogbo.
He revealed that the intruders operated with confidence, even calling someone on the phone, right in the presence of his family members, to confirm that he was not at home.
Kehinde said the robbers eventually carted away his clothes and other personal items.
Reacting to speculation about the funds donated after Taiwo’s death, Kehinde stressed that he is not in possession of any millions.
To prove this, he shared screenshots of his bank details and provided a full breakdown of how the ₦41,850,740 donation was spent by the family.
According to him, the bulk of the money went into Taiwo’s burial expenses, while the remainder was used to furnish their ongoing building project.
He appealed passionately to those behind the attack to stop targeting his household, emphasising that the family should be allowed to mourn peacefully.
Kehinde added that there is no money at home or in his account for anyone to take.
