Today is International Day of the Girl Child, a global day dedicated to promoting the rights and challenges of girls worldwide.
This year’s theme which is “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being,” emphasises on the significance of empowering girls, recognising their leadership potential, and guaranteeing their general well-being.
According to United Nations,100 million girls are at risk of child marriage in the next decade,to avoid this Yesfm’s Oluwasemiloore Ige spoke to people on ways to address the challenges of child marriage and early pregnancies to protect the rights and futures of girls.
