YESFM honors Nigerian women in celebration of International Women’s Month

The month of March is set aside to highlight female accomplishments across the world.

From International Women’s Day to Women’s History Month, there is enough time for all to reflect, learn, educate, and celebrate the accomplishments of women across the globe.

The 2024 Day focused on the theme ‘Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment’.

Over the years, Nigerian women have been rewriting women’s narrative across the globe, setting new standards and forging new paths for the sole goal of gender equality.

For this year’s International Women’s Day, 101.7 YESFM highlights women who have been outstanding in their various fields to encourage more women.
