Adekanmbi Calls on Makinde to Restore BCOS to Its Glory Days

Prince Ade Adekanmbi has called on the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to urgently intervene in the affairs of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), warning that the once-thriving state-owned media organisation is gradually losing its relevance.

Prince Adekanmbi made the appeal during the Southwest Broadcast Summit held at the Oyo State Secretariat in Ibadan.

He lamented the current state of BCOS, noting that the media outfit, which was once a leading voice in broadcasting in the South-West, is facing significant challenges that threaten its survival and relevance in today’s media landscape.

Prince Adekanmbi stressed that reviving BCOS is crucial, not only for preserving its legacy but also for strengthening public broadcasting and ensuring that Oyo State maintains a vibrant and credible state-owned media institution.
